This is the start of a movement
We come from places that have known conflict across generations. We carry histories, memories, and experiences that do not always align. We do not begin from agreement. And yet — we choose to create something together.
For many years, efforts toward peace have focused on politics, negotiations, and agreements. These are important and necessary. But they are not sufficient,
Because conflict does not exist only in borders or institutions. It exists in the way people see themselves — and the other.
Re-Imagine Peace begins from a different place:
Not from solutions — but from encounter.
Not from positions — but from presence.
We create spaces where people can meet beyond predefined roles and identities, where complexity can be experienced without the need for immediate resolution, where pain and hope walk side by side, and where something new can begin to emerge.
We recognize that both our societies are still in the process of becoming. Each carries its own story, its own sense of belonging, and its own search for meaning and continuity. These stories matter — they provide direction and identity.
But when they become rigid and exclusive — they also limit what is possible.
We are not here to erase stories.
We are here to allow them to breathe,
To make space for more than one story to exist at the same time — without fear or negation.
We are here to Re-Imagine ourselves, and each other.
More than an event,
it is the start of a worldwide movement.
RE-IMAGINE PEACE is a transformative multicultural gathering that brings together Israeli, Palestinian, and international artists, thinkers, creators and organizations all sharing their humanity through music, words, and activism.
